Wireless Engineer

This position supports pre-sales engineering and post-sales implementation, and provides ongoing support for RF communications systems.

Duties for the significant opportunity include but are not limited to:

Supporting specialized systems, product applications, and spectrum analysis from a technical perspective
Maintaining communication system infrastructure
Optimizing performance and advanced troubleshooting of RF and Broadband architecture
Developing solutions and ongoing support to complex technical problems arising from system implementation
Collaborating with sales and installers to design, implement, optimize and cut over advanced communication systems including outdoor wireless WAN solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent training and experience
Minimum of 5 – 7 years background working with advanced networking and increasingly complex telecommunications
Network design for both new construction and retrofit
Extensive wireless experience including line of site point-to-point links, tower construction, and design background with deployment of wide area network implementations is a must.
Knowledge of OSI, network protocols (including TCP/IP), network infrastructure, VoIP, PBX and Solar Winds Orion is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft office, CADD/Visio, and product specific training/certification (Motorola, Dragonwave and/or Bridgewave) is imperative.
Cisco advanced wireless design certification is desirable.
